An attitude of gratitude

An attitude of gratitude

Happy Monday my dear friends! Looking at this picture, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the day I made the life-changing decision to take that first step toward recovery.
It was, without a doubt, the most important step I’ve ever taken. That day holds so much meaning for me. At the time, everything felt impossibly hard, but now I can see that it was nothing compared to how hard things would have become if I hadn’t chosen to change.
On May 24th, I’ll celebrate 5 years of sobriety. And today? Today, I’m just deeply grateful. If you’re in the thick of it, keep going. You are worth the fight. You are worth the struggle.
Don’t give up on yourself, and don’t give up on your recovery.
Have an amazing day, stay strong, and know that I’m rooting for you. Stay well, I love ya Matt x

Recovery is possible: An addict's story

"Recovery is Possible" is a raw and unfiltered journey through addiction, trauma, and the fight for sobriety. Matt, a recovering alcoholic and survivor of childhood abuse, shares his first year of recovery—not as a doctor, but as someone who has lived it.

Through personal reflections, strategies, and hard-earned lessons, he offers a guide for those battling addiction. From childhood trauma to public accountability, Matt’s story proves that change is possible, no matter how deep the struggle.

The proceeds form the sale of this book supports the sober coach hub and the initiative, helping others on their path to recovery.
